WiFi Hire ( wifihire.com for people that need internet in America and wifihire.co.uk for people that need internet in the U.K ) is a service that enables you hire internet access for your short term needs. The internet access device sent to you allows you to connect several (more than one) of your gadgets or devices like phone, tablets to the internet indoors and outdoors without the need of fixed phone lines/landline or cable.

You can hire for as little as 3 days or more without being tied to a long contract.

Yes you can. If you need the device longer than the duration you initially rented for, you can email us to request a hire extension by sending an email replay to the hire confirmation email message you had received after placing your order, and inform us of the number of days you wish to extend for.

Hire extension is charged at the same price rate as a brand new hire.

Example: if you wish to extend for 7 days, the price would be the same price as 7 days hire. 

Both the portable pocket wifi internet and the temporary wifi device for Home internet and Business internet should work with any WiFi enabled device like smartphones (example: iPhone, Blackberry, Android, ), laptops , Mac, tablets like  iPad/ Kindle, game consoles, TV, and more .

Yes you can use LAN/Ethernet cable if you wish to do so. The routers allow you to access the internet using WiFi signal (just like hotspot), but also have a LAN/Ethernet Port at the back that allows you to connect an ethernet cable if you wish to connect any of your gadgets using a LAN/Ethernet cable

The portable pocket wifi internet : Connects up to 10 gadgets at the same time

The temporary wifi for Home internet : Connects up to 30 devices/gadgets at the same time.

Note: The more device you have connected to the wifi equipment, the slower your internet would be and the faster it would take for you to consume your allocated internet data .

If you reach the fair data usage limit before the end of the month, the download speed will be slowed down, but you would still have internet access. When the new month starts, the speed would be returned back to normal.

The data provided through the wifi internet device is supplied by “Verizon” ,T-Mobile, AT&T .

We have chosen to use these data service providers because they have a good coverage across the U.S. But we would try out or add more suppliers when possible.

No, it does not matter what phone network your phone is using. As long as your phone connects to our device through wifi , it should be able to access the internet through our device.  The device works independent of if your phone is locked or unlocked to a network.  The wifi device works like connecting to a HotSpot, so your personal phone network does not matter.

We aim to get hired devices delivered by a courier/delivery company on the day you provided as your start of hire date or 1 to 3 days before the start date (when possible).

Same day order and delivery is currently not available. The fastest delivery is the Next Working days delivery of devices.

The latest day the internet device needs to be posted back to us is on the actual day your internet hire ends. 

Late return of device(s) will incur a daily late return fees plus an admin charge (please see Rental/transaction charges and handling section of our rental agreement page )

The refundable deposit is added at the basket/checkout stage.

The Refundable is refunded back your payment account 1 to 3 working days after the returned device (dropped off at the post office or post box on time) has arrived back with us and tested to see that it is in a good working condition.
